Why We Exist . . .

We don't want to be one more thing for students to do or one more thing to add to the schedule. We exist to help students see how God is moving and to challenge them to join Him in His movement!

Jefferson said,"Every generation needa a new revolution."  We don't, by any means, think we are smarter than him but we would suggest a small change to his quote.  We believe that every generation needs to be called to something bigger than themselves.  We want to be a part of positioning students so they can hear God's calling to something way bigger than themselves.

To know Christ and make Him known ~ Mark 16:13

Who we are

Be: understanding our identity in Christ - who God created us to be.

Love: taking on the attitude of Christ in every aspect of our lives

Serve: pursuing the lifestyle of Jesus - not just serving but being servants.

Repeat: this is about living a life into the mission of God, not a checklist or how-to guide.

Our Purpose:

To know Christ and make Him known ~ Mark 16:15

Our main purpose here at 180 student ministry is to glorify God in everything that we do.  We want Jesus to be the center of all that God allows us to do for Him.  Staying connected to Jesus on a daily basis is the secret to making Jesus known throughout the earth.  We believe that you can not tell people about Jesus if you don't know Him yourself.  Our chief goal is to make Jesus' love known to as many people around the world as we can.

Millions of children around the world need help to break the never-ending cycle of poverty. Hunger weakens them. Unsafe drinking water makes them sick. Missing out on an education keeps them from reaching their potential.

3 years ago we committed as a student ministry to support students in other countries who don't have the opportunities or resources that we have been blessed with.

As a sponsor, 180 Student Ministry helps provide children with sustainable access to appropriate life-changing basics like nutritious food, clean water, healthcare, and education.

Our sponsorship also helps families and communities lift themselves out of poverty by providing job training, business coaching, small loans, along with training to help poverty-affected farmers learn new ways to irrigate and grow crops.

Northshore Church is committed to transforming worship, people and the world and our vision; impacting the Northshore and the world with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. This is one way we are actively and intentionally living out what God has called us to do.

Your faithfulness each month does so much for these three students, make sure you remember to bring your money Sunday nights!
