Our main goal at Northshore Church is to teach children the love of Jesus through God’s Word while providing them with a loving environment. The Zone children's ministry is offered during the 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM services to children birth to 5th grade. We use age-appropriate materials and each group is staffed with caring teachers and volunteers to make sure your child's first step towards a relationship with Jesus is safe and positive. Children are taught truths about God, and have opportunities to express themselves and their knowledge through role play, creative play, arts & crafts, puzzles, games, and more!
***Each child, birth through 5th grade, must be checked in at our computer check-in station. Parents or guardians will receive a matching security tag so they are able to pick up their kids with ease.
THE ZONE (CHILDREN'S CLASSES)
The Water's Edge - Nursery (Birth - 23 months)
The nursery staff is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for our infants and toddlers. The nursery is staffed for both 9:00AM and 10:30 AM services. Our workers demonstrate a servant’s attitude toward the children and their parents. We have a sign-in/sign-out process and high standards of cleanliness. We follow detailed nursery policies and procedures to help protect your child’s health and well being. Copies are available upon request.
The Reef (2-5 yrs)
Children in The Reef are taught the First Look curriculum - a web-based curriculum that uses engaging activities to introduce pre-school children to God. First Look gives children a first impression of their heavenly Father and the wonder of His love for each one of them.
The Deep (K-5th Grade)
Children in the Deep are taught the 252 BASICS curriculum - a web-based curriculum helping children explore the vibrant truths of Jesus. 252 BASICS curriculum and resources provoke discovery, inviting kids to live out their new understanding of how to grow in relationship with God and with others.
