Can you believe school's almost here? The Summer has flown by but we are not quite through with the fun yet. Check out some of the stuff we are doing before classes start...

Events Calendar

July:

25^th- Student Worship Gathering 6pm-8pm

28^th- Experiencing God Study, 7pm-8;30pm, We only have 1 left after

this one so make sure you keep staying up with your study!

30^th- High School Boys all-nighter. We will start at Slidell Rocks from

6:30pm-9:30pm; then head over to the building to play video games, ride the ramps and just hang out. Bring your over night stuff with you (especially toothbrush J)!

August:

1^st- Promotion Sunday!!!

If you are going into the 6^th grade this is the Sunday that we move you up from the children’s ministry to the Student Ministry. We can’t wait for you to hang out with us so we can get to know each other. We will have a brief mtg directly after the 10:30am service for both parents and students.

1^st- Student Worship Gathering 6pm-8pm

4^th- LAST Experiencing God Study 7pm-8:30pm

7^th- Paintball @ the Landesche's House

Bring your gear, gun, paint and air and a friend and come hang out with us. We will be in a wooded area and shooting paintballs at each other so make sure you dress appropriately :)

8^th- Back To School Pool Party!!! @ Crossgates Family Fitness.

We will meet @ Crossgates on military, from 6pm-8:30pm. So that means we will not be at the NSC building this night!!! We will have food, snowballs, a giant pool, and a bunch of your friends! This is definitely a connect event so invite a friend with you so we can connect with them as well.

This is going to be a party with a purpose because we will also be raising money for students in Haiti to supply their spiritual needs, tuition, medical needs, uniforms, books, clean water and daily nutrition. For each child it is only $32 a month and we are trying to raise all the money we can to see how many children we can help. As you are getting school supplies the next couple of weeks think about little ways you can save money (like not getting a new book bag or getting one on sale instead of a cool new one) and use that money you saved as an gift for a child

15^th- Student Worship Gathering 6pm-8pm

20th- Movie Night @ the building.

From 7pm-10pm we will watch a movie on the big screen so bring something to lay on if you don’t like the floor or the blue chairs.

22^nd- Student Worship Gathering 6pm-8pm

24^th First Priority Kick Off Mtg @ Ohana Pier

From 6pm-8pm All students from Junior High through High School are invited to come to this exciting event. Several student ministries are coming together with the common vision of reaching students on the Northshore for Christ! If you haven't been to the Ohana Pier before it is an awesome place!  We will have some chill time on the front end, so we have a chance to get to know each other, then a large group time with worship and a break down of the First Priority Club that exists in your schools! Our hope is that Christian students will see that they are not the only missionaries at their school and will join together as they become "Fishers of Men". We want to pack the place out so make sure you bring a friend or 2 or 3... See you there!!!
