Northshore's youth ministry is all about getting youth to be authentic, genuine and concrete in their relationships with God! The purpose of youth ministry is to equip the youth of Slidell to live a life of authenticity, courage, and freedom. These qualities are found only through Jesus Christ. We believe the only way to true life, true joy, and true peace is through Jesus Christ. Nothshore youth group is here to help you find your REAL identity which is in Christ alone. We provide real answers to real life situations that come our way. So, stop playing games and Get Real with God. He knows you and he loves you just as you are!
What's in it for me?
Northshore Youth Ministry offers something for everyone in grades 6 through
12. The youth will have the opportunity to take part in various activities such as
Reality trips, retreats, Bible studies, fun get-togethers, concerts, and much more.
Our youth group provides a fun and safe environment for you to be yourself
while growing in a relationship with Jesus Christ. If you like to have fun and want
to grow spiritually, then you do not want to miss out on the experience!
Youth Group Gatherings
Youth gatherings feature music, dramas, games, video clips, and exciting, relevant
messages which take the gospel of Jesus and break it down in a way that youth
not only understand but remember.
These groups are where we take the youth deeper in God's word, examining
what it says and discovering how it can impact our lives every day. The group
environment fosters a genuine desire to dive deeper into Bible study and helps
equip our youth with the leadership skills they need to live out the Christian
life. Youth meet Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00p. These groups are taught
by passionate leaders who are called to share God's Word with this emerging
generation of students. And if that's not enough, we also meet occasionally for
coffee to have open, confidential dialog with one another.
The youth ministry is also is about finding the person God created you to be. It's about discovering the difference between PERSONALITY and IDENTITY. God loves you for who you are, and so do we! Come on Wednesdays and discover the identity in Christ you've been missing - life will never be the same!
